Jermauria Rasco - 2011

Jermauria Rasco was considered one of the top defensive lineman in America his senior year at Evangel. He started as an eighth-grader all the way through his senior year giving him the distinct and rare title at Evangel as a five-year starter. He went on to LSU where he was a four-year starter and was considered one of the top defensive lineman in the South Eastern Conference. While at Evangel, he lead the nation in sacks and quarterback hurries. Jermauria was especially kind and honoring towards his teachers and loved to participate in community service. He was also awarded First-team All-State honors all four years in high school. He graduated from LSU in four years and is currently an assistant coach at Arizona State University.

Jerry Tillery - 2015

Jerry Tillery is one of the most dominant two-way players, both defensive tackle and offensive guard, in Evangel history.  Jerry started his sophomore, junior, and senior years and was a physical specimen at 6'6" and 320 pounds.  Along with his freakish physique, he possessed cat-like flexibility and quickness.   Jerry was renowned for playing with intellect and high intensity.  Tillery was a high character personality and an academic scholar at our school. He later graduated from Notre Dame in 3 years with a degree in Economics from Notre Dame.

Tillery also received high honors as a Sports Illustrated first team All American his senior year at Notre Dame.

Micah Baskerville - 2017

Micah Baskerville is considered one of the greatest linebackers in Evangel football history. He was a four-year starter and played multiple positions on the defensive side of the ball. He was also considered one of the most athletic and intellectual players in Evangel history.

With ECA's amazing lineage of linebackers what set Baskerville apart is that he led the team in tackles in his final three seasons.  In his senior year, he was awarded the Louisiana 5-A Defensive Player of the Year.
